Darrick Wood Infant & Nursery Cystic Fibrosis day

We thank all our parents/carers, staff and pupils for supporting Darrick Wood Infant & Nursery’s Cystic Fibrosis day. All the children and staff dress in something yellow. It was a good way to raise awareness of this important charity and it really brightened up the school! We had 107 entries into Mrs Stevenson-Fry’s “Guess The Number Of Bananas In The Jar” competition. The actual number of sweets in the jar was 49. Amazingly we had three correct entries from Angelina in Bat, Thomas in Rabbit and Harrison in Mole. Unfortunately there can only be one winner and the person pulled out of the hat was… Harrison. The day raised a fantastic £362!
