At Chancery Education Trust we are passionate about creating a world class education system. We pride ourselves on having a unique perspective on the process of collaborating with like-minded people who share our values, aspirations, challenge and empowerment, valuing the individual and collaboration partnerships.
We are a multi-academy trust (MAT) with high aspirations for our academy schools and their pupils, and have a proven track record of exceptional school improvements. We recognise that each school in our MAT has a set of strengths and things they do well.
We aim to build on strengths and empower schools to specialise in their area of expertise and help them achieve greatness from whatever point of their journey they start. The aim is always for schools to flourish within a supportive and collaborative structure.
Schools belong to their local community and we encourage schools to retain identity and recognise heritage.
There are many ways in which to join our community – as a school, as staff, as volunteers, as a trustee or governor.

“Chancery Education Trust has helped our school with the nitty gritty burden of HR, Finance, Estate Contracts, Policies and Governor Recruitment. It means we can focus on the education of our pupils.”
“The regular team meetings across all schools, from Headteachers/Principals to Deputies and Assistant Headteachers, directly with Matt, has made us feel supported and listened to. The communication links and collaboration between all the schools and the Trust are strong.”
“One of the benefits I’ve found belonging to a small trust is increased capacity at a Leadership level: School leaders and teachers can combine their knowledge and planning abilities to work on challenges and solutions together. Everyone’s voice is heard.”
“Joining Chancery Education Trust means we’re still our school, just a little bit better!”
“Professional Development: Being part of Chancery Education Trust allows staff to have access to opportunities for professional development, including NPQ courses, ECT training, moderation training and other courses to enhance subject and pedagogical knowledge”.
“HR across the schools works across multiple sites within our MAT. This has been really helpful and supportive for our schools, especially given the challenges that the education sector faces with recruitment. Being part of Chancery Education Trust also enables staff access to more opportunities across the schools, including promotions from within too, for example staff being promoted to senior positions such as AHT, SENCO and even Principal too.”
